In a small opening in the middle of the eerie forest, a fire was dying as the brunt up woods were steadily turning into ash. A young formally dressed man walked towards the clearing, passing by a blond teen who slept on the ground. A bit ahead ways was a pink haired lassie watching the fire die out. She clearly heard and noticed the man, but didn’t remove her gaze from the fire. “… Did Lucas do it?”

Lucy shrugged. “I believe so.” She said, scooting a bit to make room for the young man to sit on the log.

Semreh took the invitation, letting his eyes watch the blond sleep. “So, he’s not dying as fast, yes?”

The magenta haired woman shrugged, with expression bordering between innocent and irritated. “Maybe, hard to tell. We didn’t exactly talk.” She chuckled, leaning closer to irritation.

The informant gave a laugh at her reply. “Hehe, pleasant conversationalist, hoh?”

The sarcasm was clear in his tone. “He’s cute though.” Lucy countered.

Semreh shrugged with a roll of his eyes. “Wouldn’t know about that.”

A silence fell upon them, the fire’s crackling becoming whispery. It’s light quickly dimming, as the last of the bark struggled to keep going. Lucy’s soft expression went into a violent one, her train of thought getting darker the more the silence lingered on. “Did you meet her?”

The info broker frowned, sharing the same expression as the snake familiar. “Yes.” He inhaled deeply, calming himself down from the spike of negativity.

“Are you going to introduce the two?” Lucy asked, turning her attention to the info broker. He simply smirked with his malicious trademark smile and took out his notepad from his breast pocket.

“Of course not.” Chuckling burst right after, unable to help himself from the irony of his plans for the blond. The snake familiar only sighed out, accepting this as a typical reaction. She stood after a moment, and stretched her limbs, lengthening her neck in order to crack her collarbones.

Something Semreh sweat dropped at but pretended not to notice. “Well, I better go.”

The informant waited a moment, letting the snake familiar get a good distance away before getting up himself. “Wait.”

She turned back around.
In an open area, clearly the backyard of a home, since the house was just right there. The informant and dark shop keeper were on corner of the field, chatting amongst themselves. Something Chris couldn’t help but be curious about. He was positive he was the topic of their chat, but all their hand and body gestures they did made it hard to tell what they were saying exactly.

Chris knew the informant was the enthusiastic one, yet he didn’t seem to be moving much now. While the creeper shop keeper didn’t move much before when he first met him, was now making all sorts of movements. The midnight haired man almost looked distressed, if not pissed off.

“That being said, there will be a lot of brewing. But it’s totally different from potion making. Think of it more like a science project~!” Lucy said, giggling and setting down the many items in her arms down on the stone somewhat table. Chris gave a glance to the big stereotypical Halloween pot that was being held up with rope and a wooden stand to make it hover above firewood.

Was there really no stove? And wouldn’t the rope fucking burn along with the wooden stand? Or did elemental logic get defied here too? Chris rolled his eyes, letting his gaze go back to the two young men getting closer by the second. If he hadn’t known better, they looked ready to suck face. But he did know better, therefore knew they were threatening each other silently.

Lucy glanced over her shoulder, making sure the blond was paying attention to what he was saying. The slouching sitting teen on the boulder bench was not. The snake familiar promptly went over to the lad, and smacked him lightly. “Hey!”

“Don’t hey me.” She said, giving a fake pout. “Pay attention to the teacher.”

Chris rolled his eyes, again, how was someone like this not killed by the demon already? Weren’t demons evil guys who kills anything that ticks them in the slightest or something like that? “Whahever.” Chris muttered, changing his position to stop his eyes from glancing over to the two males.

“As I was saying, you’ll need to familiarize yourself with the basics of potion brewing. After all, every branch has a root.” Lucy perkily explained, setting down the last of the empty vails. Chris was sort of surprised they looked like simple salt and pepper shakers.

The rosaline lassie walked in childish manner towards the blond, and extended her arm up, lowered it down, just hand over a raggedy notebook. Chris only looked at it, moving his eyes up to look at her. Lucy stared back for a moment before bouncing her shoulders, motioning for the blond to take the notebook. “This is the notebook Lucas made to combine the important information he’s written.”

Chris wanted to make a snaky remarked, but remembered he needed that information. So instead he exhaled, hiding his annoyance and took the notebook. Before the blond can skim through it, the info broker decided to join in the two’s listening range. “Well now, I believe it’s about time I complete this job.” He said, straightening out his vest and bringing life back to the handkerchief in his breast pocket.

Lucy gave a small pout at his words, before turning her attention to the creeper shop keeper who was headed towards the house. “Where are you going?” She asked, tiling her torso as if her head really weighed that much. Both Semreh and Chris looked over to where Lucas was.

He sighed, his usual hunch and perverted-looking exhausted expression back. “I have a part-timer to train.”

Did that mean the same thing here as it did on Earth, or was Chris completely allowed to imagine something dirty going down? Semreh chuckled, understanding that more than the blond and rosaline did. The mortal turned back to Semreh, no longer interested in the shop keeper. Though the same couldn’t be said for Lucy.

She only turned back to the two males when Semreh spoke up again. “Derik’s in town, I will be meeting up with her to receive my payment~”

Chris shook his head, a small quirky smile fighting to surface. “Whoa whoa, wait. You were getting for kid sitting me?”

The informant laughed once, surprised he would even ask. “Of course I was, hoh~”

“So wait, what would’ve happened if your attempted murder succeeded?” He asked, recalling his first meeting with the informant. That was what, three days ago? Felt longer than that though.

Lucy bounced her chest towards the info broker. Which only made the man cringe and take a step back. “You tried to kill him?”

“Are you telling me you haven’t?” He countered. Chris half frowned half glared. “At any rate, once I receive my payment, I’ll be moving on to other clients. So this will be the last we see each other.”

Now that struck a different cord with the blond. He wasn’t sure if it was because he just got to know him, or if it’s because he was a guy. But Chris didn’t really sit well with this being the last time he talks with the informant. Or maybe he just didn’t want to get stuck with that crazy demonic chick. During his thought process, Semreh had taken out a medium sized notebook, new and clean but obviously opened.

He handed the notebook to Chris, making him focus at the situation on hand.  The blond’s eyes blinked in a jolt. He’s seen this notebook before, he would see the informant write it in from time to time. “I have written down all that I believe is needed to know about this world and how it… spins.” He smirked at the last word. “Whenever you get over yourself, have a look.”

“Whahever.” Chris responded, taking the book a bit forcefully. The informant’s eye twitched, but he let it slide. Lucy stepped aside, seeing the info broker pick a route to leave. When Chris saw the man straighten out his vest and inhaled sharply, he knew he really wouldn’t be seeing this guy ever again.

“I take it you’re not a fan of fish.”

“Nurses for sale?”

“Dude, don’t touch me!”

“Wouldn’t that mean you care me? I’m touched.”

“Hey, Samuel.” Chris didn’t stop his voice in time, the memories that flashed across his mind made him lose control over his body momentarily. The informant hadn’t moved yet, and looked back at the blond. “Whats uh… whatz’ your real name?” He asked, giving the informant a squinted expression.

Semreh decided to take that look as a smile. He chuckled, tipping his fedora hat a bit lower. “I will propose a bet.” He said, leaning down a bit. “If you can encounter what ‘Semreh’ means, or where it came from.” He straightened out his back, smirking a bit wider now. “I will tell you my name.”

Lucy rolled her eyes, going over to the brewing pot. The info broker messed with his earring again, and took the notebook he had just given to the lad. Using the pen that didn’t have ink, he picked a random page and wrote something down.

When he handed the notebook back, Semreh dipped his hat in a farewell gesture. “It was not a pleasure knowing you, hoh~” He smirked playfully.

“Pftfh.” Chris let out a chuckle that swayed his body. “Yeah yeah~”
“Spherical Biter?”

“Hom~ that is what he said.”

The raven haired lassie sighed out, an obvious frowned confusion lacing her facial features. Her eyes were looking off to the side while her head remained the same forward position. Her bright maroon eyes glanced back in front, before her head inchly moved back to the side all together. Making her oval short spiky locks jerk between the motion.

The young gentlemen in front of her was formally dressed up. A grey vest, grey aligned pants, same clothing actually, just a different color then the previous suits he wore before. His fedora never seemed to change though, the scratched rip he recived after his duel against a certain woman was still evident. Even though the lace around his hat was different to match the handkerchief poking out from his breast pocket.

He stared at the lassie, trying to understand why she seemed a bit on the distressed fence. “Lucas, albeit, reluctantly agreed to lend assistance until the basics and activation are over and dealt with.” Semreh looked away, hoping to give a bit of reassurance to the lassie. Which made him feel rather disgusted. Perhaps he didn’t dislike females as much as he used too.

She gave a nose sigh, feeling a bit calmer about the situation. But still not accepting it--however. She really couldn’t complain, judging by Semreh’s summary just now. The blond gave them a lot of trouble and came very close to dying last night. Who knows, one little wrong move and he would’ve ended up dead before she got back to the Asty. “I thank you for your assistances. And apologize for all your trouble.”

Semreh chuckled, pocketing the notepad that laid on the table. “Gratitude is invalid when there is a price.”

“Mm.” Derik seemed to have agreed with that.

The info broker messed with his earring, dipping his head to let his fedora cast over his eyes. The lassie then scooted back, making room for her to stand. “Very well, I am grateful for your act of ensuring my request becomes completed.”

Semreh couldn’t help but laugh genuinely at that. Hearing this sound, Derik decided to take her leave.

All the informant could do was watch one of his frequent customers leave the table first, for the last time. “Well, it was a pleasure doing business with you, Titanium.”

“So this Mahonic is of the Larissor Type.”

“On.”

“Which is good, in case you decide to change your specialty.”

“Un.”

“Normally Larissor Mahonic is more of a skill for people, rather than an active Mahonic.”

“An.”

“Fighting with potions in general are more on the defensive side, though.”

“En.”

“But I have witnessed people use potions for duels!”

“In.”

“You’re not paying attention are you?”

“Hold up, I think I’m missing a vowel.”

Lucy shot a leer, smacking the boy’s head lightly. The light hit echoed throughout the boy’s mind, and hurt a lot more than it should have. But neither of the two could bring themselves to care about that. “You need to know all this before you try anything.”

The blond sighed out, changing the position of his bent legs. “There’s only one thing I’m interested in.”

The rosaline shook her head, side to side with closed eyes. Chris wasn’t sure who was moer annoying, the info broker or the snake lady, when it came to over dramatic body movements. “If that’s the only hope you’re clinging to, you’ll never get anywhere.”

Watching and listening from a good distance away to not get noticed. Was the black haired lassie with uneven split ends. She stood there, her focus paying close attention to the  lad she had dragged into this world. Though he still looked fatally ill, the change in his hair made it clear he was on the right path.

Though his attitude hadn’t seem to change much. Perhaps the activation process was subconscious, she thought.

“…Spherical Mahcronic rearranges it’s components molecules to give out different effects depending on different alchemy mixtures.” Chris muttered out loudly. Though he wasn’t paying much attention to what she was saying earlier, he understood the gist of it. He knew at some point this Spherical magic had to make sense, hoped the way he describe it as an ordinary chemistry project would be it.

The rosaline waited a moment, staring at the blond as he was keeping his line of sight elsewhere. Though she knew it’ll be dangerous to keep the blond believing this Mahonic was like any other chemistry project--it was the only way to get him to practice it. “Someone’s catching on~!” She exclaimed, jumping up once in a cheerful bounce.

All Chris did was roll his eyes, taking a glance at the notebooks beside him. Lucy grabbed a handful of some blue powder in a bag that was lined up at the stone table. She walked over next to the pot, careful not to step close to the small fire underneath. Chris honestly didn’t understand how the rope hadn’t burned up yet. “Just hang in there, and in no time you’ll be concocting all kinds of er… experiments!”

She flicked her wrist, making some of the powder fall in the pot. Once it reached the bubbling liquid, a small puff of white smoke exploded. Chris had jolted at the sound, and looked oddly at the mist. He then shot a glare when Lucy came closer to him, holding out her palm for him to hold out his. Obviously gesturing he gave it a try.

He wanted nothing more than to wake up from this nightmare.

He was expected to start making potions like some sort of cliché witch?

He was pretty much a dead man no matter what he tried, wasn’t he?

Like hell he’ll ever come to accept any of this.

Fantasy crap like this does not exist.

The more he let himself watch the pot, the more he felt against everything. The more he realized he would actually be participating in some cult-like shit, the more he rather drop dead. Out of spite, Chris stood up, and grabbed some of the powder Lucy held, and flicked it bitterly to the pot.

Not a single reaction.

Chris glared harder at the busty woman upon noticing the pity expression he gave him. Feeling himself start to get riled up, he roughly laid himself down at the stone bench, ignoring the dull aching in his side and head. It was so tempting to ram his fist against his bullet wound and bleed out.

The blond didn’t bother to glance when he heard lots of shuffling noises go on. Even though he knew somewhere in the back of his mind, one person couldn’t possibly make all that noise. His ability to not give a single shit out weighted his ability to try. So he didn’t see it coming when someone suddenly yanked his shirt forward.

The impact of being jerked made his mind swellingly pulse, momentarily blinding his vision from seeing his aggressiver.

“I have returned.”

Not that he needed his vision to tell who it was anyways. “It’s Derek, right?” Chris sarcastically asked.

Once his blurriness cleared up, he saw the chick who brought him here in the first place. Wearing the same clothing, and the same stoic expression. Chris’ eyes slainted, giving the best glare he could manage in his current state.

Though that glare turned of confusion when he felt something be placed on his head.

“Ah!” He heard Lucy gasp after the demonic chick let him go. When his head had lowered from the sudden change in balance, he felt his bangs get pushed down as something clearly too big of his head shifted towards his forehead. “That’s so cute!” The snake woman shouted.

Whatever it was, he instantly hated it.

Chris brought his hand up, moving up the headgear. He felt the top of it, and all around. It was cool in a cold sense, smooth like metal, yet a bit screechy like a hard mineral. There was also a smooth jewel in the center.

[No way.] Was this a crown on his head?!

“It offers protection. It can sense when thee owner is placed in danger and will react.” Derik explained, her tone somehow seemed softer than her harsh gaze. “There will be events where I cannot offer my protection. Please wear this at all times.”

Not that he was against having a crown that can somehow protect him. But it was a crown. A crown.

Lucy shook her head, palming her shoulders up. “Uh, Derik? All eyes would be on him if he walked around with a crown.”

Finally, someone with some logical sense.

The demonic chick stared at the rosaline for a good moment. Her expression never changing, and both Lucy and Chris thought she was pissed. However the Weaponry Wielder looked down, her shoulders slumping just a bit. “Oh…”

Blond and rosaline sweat dropped. Did she really not see that coming? She somehow looked sincerely disappointed. How much did this even cost to get a reaction like that from her?

The snake familiar chuckled nervously. “I’m sure there’s a blacksmith who can turn it into a bangle though! That outta be easier, yes yes?”

“Oh.” Derik gave a little nod, agreeing with the familiar.

Chris took off the crown, deicing to see how it really looks like. [This is not real gold…. Right?] Chris noticed all the jewels where in orb shapes and different pale colored. The only one that really shined was the middle blue gem, the red and green were pale, like, dying or something.

It also looked like an ordinary king’s crown. He was kind of surprised judging by this place’s fashion sense. Lucy bounced with a small squeal. “Oh just imagine how cute you two will look, sharing similar accessories~!”

Chris gave a hard stare. “… Yeah, I’m alright with theh crown.”

All the rosaline did was giggle and tried to take the headgear. Derik though, was faster and turned around. When Chris glanced over to the snake woman, she shrugged somewhat confused. Making the blond roll his head with a eye roll and lay back down on the stone bench.
November 5th.

In the same backyard field, the black haired lassie--Derik. Stood over a large wide pan, and watched as nothing really happened to the crown that was placed on the pan. A very good distance away, was the blond lad--Chris. Standing dangerously near a bubbling pot that hung over with rope and on a wooden stand as firewood below heated things up.

Unlike Derik who wasn’t really doing anything. He was grabbing all kinds of ingredients that was lined up on the stone marble table and tossing it in to the pot not really giving a single shit. It’s not like anything bad would happen, he’s got not a single ounce of ‘Mystique’ in him. Therefore, this was completely pointless. Why was that snake making him do this.

Chris bitterly tossed in some powder mix, and semi-growled when there was no reaction. He whipped around, ready to yell at the rosaline.

If she as there that is.

Which she was not. “Huh…?” [Whaht the hell! She left!] The blond scoff, what was the point in any of this, again? Chris cringed, the Speed Star movement catching up to his headache. He felt a lot worse than the previous day. His shoulders, neck and the back of his skull was crinkling aching. It made his jaw felt clamped up, made his temples swell. Made him want to rip out his eyes to stop that annoying throbbing feeling in the back of his eyelids stop.

Every time he moved his shoulders, he could hear it trickle, like it was being held together by harp strings. And no matter how he twisted his neck, there was always a pointless crack that seemed to do more harm than good.

“I have the container you request, dear young madam~” Chris groaned at the familiar voice. He lazily turned his head over to where the demonic glaring chick stood. Lucas was wearing the same clothing as the previous day, and handed the chick something cylinder.

The Derek girl said nothing, which would mean the creeper shop keeper would leave. However he turned his head, peeking a glance towards where Chris stood. The blond lad didn’t want to look away, so he mustered the best glare he could. Which looked a lot more imitating now that his eyes were showing off his agony.

Lucas just smirked though, looking even more creepy with his peek-a-boo bangs. The midnight haired young man made his way slouchily over to Chris, taking a peek at the pot. Chris saw him frown, though he could somehow tell his eyebrow was raised despite that certain eyebrow being hidden by his bangs. “Wh… What is this?”

“Thad snake of yours told me to make somethin’.” He replied, rubbing his neck with one hand.

Lucas gawp at the pot bubbling. He could smell such a random mix of all kinds of items. Even with a nose with his, he couldn’t tell one single item that was thrown in. if the blond was standing this close to the pot the entire time, he would be good as dead if any of this had real effect. “This is not Orbit Brewing, this is not even Potion Brewing…!”

“As if I know the difference.”

Lucas shot a serious leer. His arm twitched, almost gripping the boy’s turtleneck. Chris frowned back, the two staring the other down. Even though Chris could only see one eye, that single eye felt like three glares in one. There was just so much more emotion in them, it made his eyebrow twitched. He fought his own mind that wanted to look away.

Luckily, Lucas did first, dragging out a sigh. “Just… watch.” Lucas mumbled. He glanced at the blond’s way. “My dear young man.”

Chris could practically feel the resentment.

Lucas grabbed one of the knots on the rope, not hinting out if it was hot. He pulled up the knot, making the pot tip over and dump it’s odd colored content out onto the floor. Chris felt a tickle in his throat, seeing the muddled liquid splat against the ground. At least now he knew how to make convincing vomit liquid if a situation ever called for one.

The creeper-shop-keeper took out something from the oddly stitched pattern on his shirt. Chris was mildly surprise that was actually a pocket. How skinny was this guy? Lucas opened the vial, letting a small ball candy-like fall in his palm before swallowing it swiftly. Lucas awkwardly moved his neck around, extending his head in uncomfortable lengths.

Chris saw something faintly glow and head to his hands. As if the pill went straight there after being consumed. Lucas then ghostly rubbed his palm all over the now empty pot. Chris could tell he wasn’t touching the pot at all, so he didn’t understand why Lucas made sure to get every inch.

The creeper-shop-keeper poured in the jug of Mystique Liquid, that Lucy had left on the stone table. “Name a color.” Lucas said, looking over the ingredients displayed.

The mortal laddie scoff with a head roll. “Alright… red.”

Lucas nodded, hovering his hands over the scattered half used ingredients. Almost without thinking about it, Lucas began to pick up and toss in ingredients. He poured in liquids, he sprinkled in powders. He could mashed together some items he’s never seen and let it drop to the pot.

Eventually, Chris’ eyes had to widen when he saw a heavy bubble start to detach itself from the pot and rise. Eventually, a whole bunch of thick bubbles started to rise, popping once reaching the outer layer of the pot’s steam. The lad’s attention went back to Lucas, once he noticed him stop stirring.

The demon grabbed one of the empty small flagon bottles and dipped it in the pot. Once the vial was filled, Lucas brought it back up, shaking it a bit. He then placed in the glass cork, shook it harder, then removed the cork. Though Chris wasn’t sure if anything did shake, the liquid looked a lot like honey.

Lucas poured some of the liquid onto his bare palm. It didn’t take long lie honey, but was obviously thicker than blood. The blond was somewhat looking forward to the man getting his palm burned, but just before the liquid made contact with his palm, it balled up into an orb.

Chris was too engross with what he was seeing notice his eyebrows raising in slight amazement.

Lucas brought his palms closer to each other, making the orb split into multiples. The way his hands were brought apart made Chris wondered if the liquid was acting magnetic. Lucas hovers his hands in a circular motion, making sure the orbs stays afloat.

Suddenly.

He lashed out his palms towards the trees behind Chris. The blond turned around in time to watch the orbs splat against the trees, and instantly after eruptions of flames sprouted. “Hh!”

As the blond stared at the scorch marks, Lucas grabbed a couple vials and filled it up with the same liquid. He then grabbed one of the knots on the rope, pulled and dump the pot’s content. Chris had turned around, his expression showing his disapproval.

Lucas swallowed another of those candy pills, and after awkwardly shifting his neck. He stuck his head straight in the center of the pot. Chris’ body jolted as he watched, but was even more surprised the liquid in the pot did not touch him.

Literally, not a single dropped touch his skin. Lucas smirked to himself, noticing he now has the boy’s full attention. He wiggled his fingers and twisted around his wrist. The thick liquid made sure to avoid touching him and looked rather rigid.

It was then Chris realized why this seemed so familiar. [The hydrophobic effect…!]

Lucas pulled out his arm, some of the liquid ghostly hovering over his skin. He brought his arm closer to the blond, in which the lad hadn’t cringe but intently studied over the man’s arm. Lucas waved his arm, defying the normal range of flexibility in the process. He curved his torso, and extended his other arm in a wave motion, almost like he was dancing.

Lucas then confirmed he was indeed dancing with a spin of his heels. Once he was back to his original line of direction, he whipped his arms down, making the liquid that hovered over his arms splat down to the ground. The instant it hit the ground, water sprouted and splash across the grass.

Chris took a jump step back, and looked at the wet ground with lips a gap and eyes completely opened. Though the boy hadn’t noticed it himself, Lucas managed to catch the slightest of smile tugging his lips.

November 6th

Lucas waved off his blonde part-timer as she commented him on taking the store’s merchandise. He sneakily made his way through the busy street and back to his own place.

Derik was now pressing a blunt circular item against the cylinder Lucas had brought earlier. She took a glance up, seeing the two boys brew up another orbit.

The creeper-shop-keeper defied the laws of physics as he noddled armed repeatedly to make the liquid orbs remain hovered in eye level. Steadily, Lucas widened his elbows, making his hands that vertically kept the liquid in place, start to sphere motion. Chris watched, his back a bit straighten and his eyes looking a lot more rested.

Swiftly, Lucas lashed his arms out, one up the other down. Instinctively Chris watched the arm that shot up, not seeing the whirlpool like gale wind start to strengthen in midair at the ground. By the time he noticed, he was already lifted into the air in a short bounce. Chris didn’t stop the tiny burst of surprised laughter.

Lucas kept his gaze up, making the blond curiously look up in time to see gale winds spiral in the center of sky. Creating a whole and a swirling effect in the vast clouds.

Noticing something off in his peripheral vision, Semreh looked up to see several gale strikes part the clouds. The info broker pin pointed the location those strikes would’ve come from, and gave a raised eyebrow smile.

Lucas held up a single liquid orb in his palm. Chris was watching the orb, not really caring the creeper-shop-keeper’s attention was on the lad himself. Lucas could see the mortal being completely engrossed with everything he’s shown him. The basics of what Orbit Mahonic can do.

Lucas had also noticed throughout all this he had some fun himself. Despite resenting this mahonic with every fiber of his being. Chris waited for the palm to shoot up, or crush the orbit liquid. So he was completely shocked to see Lucas suddenly gulp down the orb.

The demon resisted the urge to laugh at the boy’s reaction. This seriously couldn’t be the same brat who almost killed himself with denial. He looked far too innocently childish to be the same boy.

Lucas’s body twitched in a type of spasm right after he swallowed. This also put down his guard, as he didn’t notice Lucy coming up behind him. Lucas extended his shoulder blade, his palm down and staring at his own arm. He then flicked up his wrist, every motion Chris watched intently, wondering what would happen next.

The moment Lucas’ palm was up, sparkles of static popped like firework. Chris’ sort of smiling lips parted wider, gasping as he saw static start to lace around the man’s fingers.

The blond’s attention went back to the creeper-shop-keeper when he noticed the man lumped forward. For a second the man looked woozy and felt as such. His vision had blurred for a moment, but when it returned he noticed instead of blue.

He saw pink.

Chris’ lips were being pulled inside his mouth, letting Lucas confirm what just happened. The now pink haired demon turned his glare to the side, where he saw his snake familiar giggling deviously, holding up one of the vials he had set away. Casually, the man grabbed one of Lucy’s breast, instantly shocking her with his temporary static abilities.

The blond laddie laughed at this. Nothing bitter or negative holding him down. Not the ache of his head or bones stopping his laughter from being any less sincere than this.

While Lucas and Lucy were busy dealing with their new distress, Derik watched Chris laugh hard at the two earthlings.
November 8th

The black haired lassie bowed midway to half. “You have my gratitude for aiding us and providing a shelter for the nights.”

Lucas, who’s hair is midnight blue at the roots, indigo at the middle and pink ends. Shrugged at Derik’s thanks. “I owed Semreh one.”

“Try three.” Lucy muttered, with a smile. She and Lucas stood on one side, as Derik and Chris stood on the city’s outskirts.

At the mention of the informant, Chris pocketed his hands and hunched his back. His eyes scanning around the area with no real goal. He wasn’t really expecting to see the informant, so he wasn’t looking for him. Yet he still couldn’t stop himself from looking at every corner. [Guess that really was the last  I’ll be seeing of that bastard.]

Lucas’ eyes darted to the blond from behind his peek-a-boo bangs. “Come and visit any time! Cuties are always welcomed at our doorstep~❤  ” Lucy giddily bounced. Somehow making her devious smile shine out as cutely as her voice sounded.

Derik shook her head before speaking. “We will not.”

“Way to kill the hope..” The snake familiar muttered.

Lucas’ eyes darted again to Chris. The lad looked irritated.

He felt irritated. The past few days his headache swelling had gone way down, and his body didn’t feel as hot or ragged as before. Also his hair is doing this freaky wohoo thing, and he’s pretty sure it got blonder? But what really irked the boy was that he actually enjoyed his time here. He felt like a stranger in his own skin. The lad didn’t even know he could laugh like that, he’s never done that before in his entire life. His life back on Earth wasn’t exactly the right environment for smiles and laughter.

The environment wasn’t made for children period.

He felt his fist clench in his pockets.

Lucas smoothly made his way with amazing speed just a few inches away from Chris’ face. To make sure the boy didn’t back away, the creeper-shop-keeper gripped the laddies’ arms. His neck was extended down so that his forehead was touching the blond’s. Even when Chris innered his neck, Lucas’s hunch still made it possible for him to just be one inch away from nose touching. “Can I bite you?”

Chris’ shock over the sudden change in position left him speechless to Lucas’ question.

“Just once, for two seconds. I--I just want a bite.” Lucas said, staring intently at the lad’s face. Because of their positions, Chris was able to see the creeper’s eyes. The one that was normally hidden was an impossible color and looked even freakier than a snake’s would. The iris was just so impossible and bothered the lad internally.

Wait a moment, was his eye changing color?!

“I just want a lick, just a tiny.. Lil’…. lick.” Lucas’s eyes traveled down to the covered neck of the blond. He didn’t bother getting any verbal reaction from the blond at this point. Like a shark‘s would, Chris saw the man’s eyes dilate. Swiftly, Lucas had brought down the blond’s turtle neck and swiped his burning tongue over the bare skin.

An earthquake erupted in the boy’s spine. The tremble reached the lad’s throat and made him yelp out girlishly. “Nnaaaeehhhaaheehha!!” Once the trembles reached his arms, he managed to shove the creeper off him.

Derik took a step back, lowering her spear she summoned through all that. After the boy’s shout, Lucy giggles filled the air. “I’m amazing you lasted this long without pouncing on him!” She explained, enjoying this enough for everyone.

Lucas sighed out disappointingly. “Mortal’s blood is very rare to come by in this world.”

Lucy’s giggling turned into crackling as Chris was violently shivering off the feeling of guy’s tongue on his neck. “It’s a good thing you’re a Sangus Addict. You would’ve sucked him dry the moment you saw him.” She said, petting her master’s head reassuringly.

He seemed genuinely depressed he didn’t get the chance to bite the kid. Chris sort of gained his sense again, now being able to register the snake’s words.

“I remember in the old days when you would suck the blood of flat chested woman you saw.” In the middle of her sentence, her playful tone became bitter with small jealousy.

Lucas sweat dropped upon noticing her angry mark. “You didn’t have a humanoid form back then.” He reminded.

Lucy hipped her hands, frowning at the creeper. “Yeah, well, now I do! And you still won’t go with me.”

Chris’ eyes darted to her modest jugglers. [I get the feeling that’s why.] The blond shook his head, feeling a lot less freaked out now. “Waiwaiwait, what kind of demon sucks flat chested chick’s blood?”

Lucas’ eyes became dangerously slited. “Demon?” He said, tone obviously offended. “How insulting, I am a Vampire.”

Chris just stared.

His neck moved his head up to the shining blazing sun.

He blinked once.

Inhaled deeply.

And turned around. “Mk.” Because nothing else made sense, why not? Vampire that doesn’t melt in sunlight. Sure. That’s all this world was missing. Derik decided to take this chance, leaving behind deviously smirking--smiling. Whatever hesitation Chris had with going with the demonic chick vanished the moment Lucas placed his tongue on his neck. At this moment, he was more than willing to get the hell out of this place.

Title: Diversis Perspectives: Bluefold, Tutorial Five “Taking A Bite of Chaos”
Series: Diversis Perspective of Pandemonium.
Relationship(s): - - - - -
Rated: AA for Anyone Aware
Season/Timeline: November 4th 2014.
Quote:
Genre:  Fantasy. Mystery. Humor?
Character(s):
:bulletwhite: “Semreh”
:bulletpink: Lucy Mioria
:bulletblue: Chris Smith
:bulletpurple: Lucas Mioria
:bulletred: Derik Sigio
Trivia:
- Originally, Lucas was set to appear for more screen time. However due to Ayla’s sudden change in character. Lucas screen time was cut short, and allowed room for Lucy.

- In Chris’ concept design, Chris was originally suppose to fight with his Crown of Orbs. Collecting the ‘Jewels of Mentals’ and learn Chaos Control Mahonic. ((Famously known to be Giovanni of PokéSpe’s crossover Mahonic)). Allowing room for Jagger to stick around. Without noticing, Chris’ mahonic changed dramatically, effectively changing Jagger’s story arc.
--- Therefore, Derik giving Chris the Crown of Orbs was a callback to the drafted plot.

- Because Lucy entered Bluefold, it allows room for Lucas’ cliffhanger story in Regal Blood/Count to continue.
--- Whether or not this chance will be taken is still undecided.

- Originally, Paige Holver’s death is what leads to Chris’ activation. The only reason why she made a cameo in Chapter Two. However, because Faith and Fallon were still students, and not already wanted criminals, Paige was given to Ayla, as Lucas to Chris. Technically, saving her life.

- For readers who’s read Regal Blood/Count ((originally known as Bloodline Royalty)) the scene where Lucas hesitantly shows Chris the basics, as Derik watches in the background is a callback and can pull heart strings. When Cyan hesitantly trains Sanders similarly, as Lucas watched in the background.
-- This effectively shows Lucas’ character developed for those who’s known him in Regal Blood/Count.

- Semreh originates from Rules Are Meant as a side character who pesters Temperance. His appearances in Diversis makes not a single sense, as he is from the Havocrila Region, not Riftlone Kingdom.
--- Additionally, Semreh implies his woman issues was triggered by Bonnirin, when in fact it was brought on by Majest’s actions against him. On top of this, Semreh gets a race change in Diversis.

- The Writer is trolling readers who has beforehand knowledge and is reading both routes simultaneously. Try and guess what’s her prank.

You have survived the seemingly never ending tutorial of Diversis Perspective! You can now;
:bulletpurple: Crossover towards the opposing Route.
:bulletblue: Play both routes simultaneously.
:bulletgreen: Change your route entirely.
:bulletyellow: Be able to handle the controls now.
:bulletorange: Use your days as freely as your want.
:bulletred: And be able to enjoy the world of Mahonic without much beginning boring sh*t you can’t skip through.
:bulletpink: Enjoy! And try not to die, let the protagonist die ends with game over.

:bulletred:So, in all honesty. I really had not a single clue as to what to do for Chris’ fifth chapter. The stories that needed to be tied were Derik and Chris finally joining up, Chris deciding on a Mahonic, that’s sort of it. The send off as they leave the city the next day. All that was like, 2’000 words tops, I still needed at least 3 more sands to pull out from the grass.:bulletorange:

:bulletyellow:So! Let’s play a game, shall we? I shall call it
:star:What Does Semreh Mean?:star:
This game will be forever ongoing until the chapter where it’s revealed. Therefore, if you have a theory, or guess, NOTE it to me. Don’t leave it in the comments, okay?
I shall officially launch this project once a bio of Semreh and a full body references is posted. And when I say officially, I mean advertise the contest. If you’re reading this right now, you can totally start note spamming me.
There is no deadline, and you will win 20:points: if you manage to guess where the name Semreh came from.:bulletgreen:

:bulletblue:Anyways, moving on. If you had picked “Universal Bank” or “Club for Nerds” then you did not get the brother-ly moment the scene after. Meaning you prevented Chris and Semreh forging a bond. Meaning, had you kept playing with that choice, the last scene with Semreh and Chris would’ve played out a lot more coldly, and without Chris asking for his real name. he would simply just say “Good riddance.” as Semreh left. Why yes, picking anything other than “Nurses for Sale” would have given you a game over, BUT not in this scene. The game over would occur around chapter nine. Thankfully, that option took place in the tutorial chapters, meaning it invalids the game over. Lucky you!:bulletpurple:

So the scenes where no one talks is suppose to be a sad attempt at doing those movie montages where only the music plays and a bunch of scenes goes by, yeah that. So anyways, hope this killed time rather than wasted it!

I like a lot how this chapter started ah ys, the conversation is so serious yeti t has this calm feeling to it and despite being pretty indirect we know what they’re talking about, nice -w-

“That being said, there will be a lot of brewing. But it’s totally different from potion making. Think of it more like a science project~!” Lucy said, giggling and setting down the many items in her arms down on the stone somewhat table.
I’d love to hear Lucy’s explanation, for some reason I feel she’d be a great teacher XD

Chris gave a glance to the big stereotypical Halloween pot that was being held up with rope and a wooden stand to make it hover above firewood.
Was there really no stove? And wouldn’t the rope fucking burn along with the wooden stand? Or did elemental logic get defied here too?

LOL

“Well now, I believe it’s about time I complete this job.” He said, straightening out his vest and bringing life back to the handkerchief in his breast pocket.
Lucy gave a small pout at his words

DAAAAAWWW
#BringbackSemreh2k15 //hit

He sighed, his usual hunch and perverted-looking exhausted expression back. “I have a part-timer to train.”
LOOL

Did that mean the same thing here as it did on Earth, or was Chris completely allowed to imagine something dirty going down?
OH MY GOD CHRIS NO XDDD

Chris shook his head, a small quirky smile fighting to surface. “Whoa whoa, wait. You were getting for kid sitting me?”
The informant laughed once, surprised he would even ask. “Of course I was, hoh~”

LOL oh child
I totally read that hoh in the wrong way omg

Lucy bounced her chest towards the info broker. Which only made the man cringe and take a step back. “You tried to kill him?”
“Are you telling me you haven’t?” He countered.
This man
XDDDDD

Man you’re making this sad godamnit, look at that, even flashbacks and stuff, nooooooooo hng </3

NO THIS WHOLE SCENE IS TOO PRECIOUS HOLD ME

The name thing (I’m game yes, I wanna find out too) Semreh’s words, he wrote something hnnngggg I wanna know omg

When he handed the notebook back, Semreh dipped his hat in a farewell gesture. “It was not a pleasure knowing you, hoh~” He smirked playfully.
“Pftfh.” Chris let out a chuckle that swayed his body. “Yeah yeah~”
and this last bye nooooo Noooooooooooooooooooo OTL
why :’I

“Lucas, albeit, reluctantly agreed to lend assistance until the basics and activation are over and dealt with.” Semreh looked away, hoping to give a bit of reassurance to the lassie. Which made him feel rather disgusted. Perhaps he didn’t dislike females as much as he used too.
PFT

“You’re not paying attention are you?”
“Hold up, I think I’m missing a vowel.”

JFC THIS KID XDDDD

Fantasy crap like this does not exist.
The more he let himself watch the pot, the more he felt against everything. The more he realized he would actually be participating in some cult-like shit, the more he rather drop dead. Out of spite, Chris stood up, and grabbed some of the powder Lucy held, and flicked it bitterly to the pot.
Not a single reaction.

well then

THE CROOOOOWN

“That’s so cute!” The snake woman shouted.
Whatever it was, he instantly hated it.

XDDDD

[No way.] Was this a crown on his head?!
YES LOL

Lucy shook her head, palming her shoulders up. “Uh, Derik? All eyes would be on him if he walked around with a crown.”
Finally, someone with some logical sense.

and it’ the snake //shot omg XDD

The demonic chick stared at the rosaline for a good moment. Her expression never changing, and both Lucy and Chris thought she was pissed. However the Weaponry Wielder looked down, her shoulders slumping just a bit. “Oh…”
Blond and rosaline sweat dropped. Did she really not see that coming? She somehow looked sincerely disappointed. How much did this even cost to get a reaction like that from her?

Derik confirmed as cutie //shot

He was grabbing all kinds of ingredients that was lined up on the stone marble table and tossing it in to the pot not really giving a single shit. It’s not like anything bad would happen, he’s got not a single ounce of ‘Mystique’ in him. Therefore, this was completely pointless. Why was that snake making him do this.
XDDDDD

And no matter how he twisted his neck, there was always a pointless crack that seemed to do more harm than good.
I know that feel, but in my left leg //shot
makes me feel bad though, he’s aching and suffering all over XDU
but then I remember Harlot and nope

The blond lad didn’t want to look away, so he mustered the best glare he could. Which looked a lot more imitating now that his eyes were showing off his agony.
LOL this is so perfect though, staring contest started out of spite, and I love those kind of glares idk why <3

Lucas just smirked though, looking even more creepy with his peek-a-boo bangs.
BACKFIRED HAHAHA

Lucas gawp at the pot bubbling. He could smell such a random mix of all kinds of items. Even with a nose with his, he couldn’t tell one single item that was thrown in. if the blond was standing this close to the pot the entire time, he would be good as dead if any of this had real effect. “This is not Orbit Brewing, this is not even Potion Brewing…!”
THIS IS A DISASTER XDDDDD OMG

More glaring contest~ //shot

Chris was too engross with what he was seeing notice his eyebrows raising in slight amazement.
Lucas brought his palms closer to each other, making the orb split into multiples. The way his hands were brought apart made Chris wondered if the liquid was acting magnetic. Lucas hovers his hands in a circular motion, making sure the orbs stays afloat.
Suddenly.
He lashed out his palms towards the trees behind Chris. The blond turned around in time to watch the orbs splat against the trees, and instantly after eruptions of flames sprouted. “Hh!”

owo! Oohhhh soo cool omg

Lucas then confirmed he was indeed dancing with a spin of his heels. Once he was back to his original line of direction, he whipped his arms down, making the liquid that hovered over his arms splat down to the ground. The instant it hit the ground, water sprouted and splash across the grass.
duuuude owo <3

Noodled armed XDDD

Chris didn’t stop the tiny burst of surprised laughter.
Lucas kept his gaze up, making the blond curiously look up in time to see gale winds spiral in the center of sky. Creating a whole and a swirling effect in the vast clouds.

omgomgomg learn these yesssss
also chris legit laughed wow //shot

Noticing something off in his peripheral vision, Semreh looked up to see several gale strikes part the clouds. The info broker pin pointed the location those strikes would’ve come from, and gave a raised eyebrow smile.
AAAWWWW DUDE </3 that’s so cute tho

Lucas had also noticed throughout all this he had some fun himself. Despite resenting this mahonic with every fiber of his being. Chris waited for the palm to shoot up, or crush the orbit liquid. So he was completely shocked to see Lucas suddenly gulp down the orb.
The demon resisted the urge to laugh at the boy’s reaction. This seriously couldn’t be the same brat who almost killed himself with denial. He looked far too innocently childish to be the same boy.

This is all just heartwarming <3
Imma cry when he leaves
why does everyone leave in this chap? ;w; //shot
ALSO casually laughing at how even the narrative mistakenly calls him a demon now omg

Lucy omg XD <3

Also his hair is doing this freaky wohoo thing, and he’s pretty sure it got blonder?
this freaky wohoo thing XDDDD

“Can I bite you?”
Chris’ shock over the sudden change in position left him speechless to Lucas’ question.

OH BOY OOOHHH BOOOYYYY

OH MY GOOOOOOD OH MY GOD HE DID HAHAHAHAHAHAHA OMG
YOU ENDURED ENOUGH TIME LUCAS, YOU SERIOUSLY HELD BACK LOL

Derik took a step back, lowering her spear she summoned through all that. After the boy’s shout, Lucy giggles filled the air. “I’m amazing you lasted this long without pouncing on him!”
DERIK JUST GOT ON GUARD LIKE WHAT WHAT WHAT and true that Lucy XDD

Lucy’s giggling turned into crackling as Chris was violently shivering off the feeling of guy’s tongue on his neck.
This is the best I want a pic of this oh my god XDDDDD CHRIS I CAN’ T
theret are tears in my eyes omg

He seemed genuinely depressed he didn’t get the chance to bite the kid.
DAAAWW XDDDD dude omg

Lucas’ eyes became dangerously slited. “Demon?” He said, tone obviously offended. “How insulting, I am a Vampire.”
AND THIS IS THE QUOTE OF THE YEAR, IDK ABOUT VOICES EVERYONE CAN HEADCANON THEM DIFFERENTLY BUT I CAN JUST HEAR HIM BEING SO INSULTED LIKE HOW DARE YOU
