Description

Favorite Chapter?:
Star!
VS Ringuma | One Angry UrsaringStar!

:bulletpurple: Chie is my favorite minor character. ((Maisy/Maizie)) She appears in the chapter previous to this, 102 I believe. And while her and Gold is all fun, adding in Silver to the mix was just plain hilarious. This chapter is a cliff hanger/direct continuation from the previous. The whole story is that Gold ends up lost on his way to Azalea, finds an Apricot, eats it, understands it's not edible after Chie giggles and tells him what it's for. Kurt appears, makes a ball, says Gold isn't worthy of it. He goes to the mountain with Chie because she wants a Pokémon, and the one she has her eye on is a Teddiursa.

:bulletblue: Then Silver comes in, wanting the Ringuma for himself. Hilarity ensures. Gold switches targets to the Ringuma because Lol. Gold's quote of "It was an accident, an accident, an act of God!" after Etaro gets rammed against Silver just immediately after the redhead tries to play cool, and Gold being a big brother to Chie, and Silver just generally being the cutie he is, all aside.

:bulletgreen: This chapter is my favorite 'cause it's the point of the Gold's journey that he no longer cares what Silver did ((stealing)) but just wants to understand why he's doing all he's doing. This is the point where he lets go of what ever childish vengeance he has against the redhead, and is just mildly concernly curious to why a kid like Silver is doing all this. I think the best part is how different this chapter makes it clear the two boys are, yet also shows how the two are clearly cut from the same cloth.

:bulletyellow: Idk, I just really love how the clear yet easy to miss meanings and development was coated over with humor and a cool battle. Lovely writing there :T <3 Anyways, I chose this panel to redraw--After Silver gets rammed by Etaro, he drops the ball, leaving both boys without their special balls, and in a corner. So Gold gets over himself and asks Silver for help, doesn't take Ringuma like he spitefully wanted to do, but manages to use his mathematics skills to bring back both balls to the rightful owner's hands.-- Because, it's a turning point for Silver. Later in the chapter, Gold understands something about Silver but is still shrouded with unclarity.

:bulletorange: For Silver, this panel Silver attempted to give Gold "advice" though nothing he said was helpful seriously, it sounds like a mistranslation no matter how you slice it LOL He still needed to say it though. He still needed to cut off Gold from their interactions. And the way he worded sounded more like he was reminding himself of how he needs to do it alone. Every other time before and after, he bluntly and directly tells Gold over and over to stop in several different ways. This is the only "warning" he gave that was worded so strangely, it didn't sound like it was meant for Gold. So yeah, this is a turning point for both boys, as they let the other get under each other's skin.

:bulletred: If I remember correctly, the whole Mikan thing happens next right? Silver was kind of quick to work with Gold again. Granted their lives were at stake, but throughout that whole thing Silver questioned himself to "Why do I even bother?" yes Silver, why did you. You have two water types, you didn't need Gold's help XDU

Oh well, now for next week! That's going to be an even bigger ramble than this LOL ~:happybounce:

P.S: I really don't mean for all these to be pms really XDU
